Time for a new sports update. Well, baseball season did not go as good as was expected for the Washington Nationals(many thought they would be in the World Series again), and they lost on the first round of the playoffs. Still looking forward to this coming 2018 season. Nats have lost a few players including Werth, but ahev most of the same team back for 2018. They will have Adam Eaton tback o play centerfiled and Trea Turner will now play shortstop. Still need a few backups, including pitchers. The Washington Redskins football team needs to decide if Kirk Cousins is their quarterback or not.. They did not make the playoffs and they had a lot of injuries this season. The Washington Wizards should make the playoffs again this season, and they need to make a little run in the playoffs this year. Guards Wall and Beals are great, but they still have a weak bench. The Washington Capitals are really good(again) this season, should definitely make the playoffs, and hopfully get on a run during the playoffs after losing in the playoffs last season. Their stars are getting old, so could this finally be the year they have a good playoff run?
In college sports, the Maryland Terps football team had a bad and losing season, under their coach(K Durkin), but they had a lot of key injuries, losung two starting quarterbacks. They are again having a good recruiting class(top 25). We will see if the results on the field will match. The Maryland Terps basketball team is off to a great start this season and should be in the Top 20 late in the season with several Freshmen playing a lot. But, they also have had two major injuries early in the season. They got another great recruiting class, and they should make the playoffs this year. The Maryland Terps baseball team was a little disappointng last season and did not make the College Wrold Series playoffs like they did lin 2015. They have a new coach, but they should return to the playoffs this season with a good retruning class and some good recruits.
